  • CAFETERIA NEWS: Beginning May 7, 2012, students are not allowed to charge for meals. They will need to have $2.25 in their account in order to purchase a lunch.
  • NEWS RELEASE – “CYPRESS PALM STUDENTS GAZE AT THE STARS
    Star gazing – watching the night sky as an exploration of our far-reaching universe.  And, star gazing is what Cypress Palm Middle School (CPM) students will do during their “Star Party”.  CPM, in collaboration with the Everglades Astronomical Society, will be gathering at 8:00 p.m., on Thursday (May 3) on the field behind the school’s cafeteria (4255 18th Avenue NE).
    The students will be getting a close-up view of the universe as they look at the stars, find constellations, and discover the wonder of the night sky.

  • URGENT INFORMATION FOR INCOMING 7TH GRADE STUDENTS: Vaccination/Immunization Requirements: This article addresses any immunizations required for school attendance during the 2012-2013 school year. Parents of students entering 7th grade should be sure to read the reminder that a Tdap booster is required. Also, immunizations are available free of charge at the Collier County Health Department clinics in Naples and Immokalee. Article is attached in three languages.

  • Music Concerts coming soon!!!! Cypress Palm Middle School will be hosting the following music concerts during the month of May:
    May 17th - All Choirs and the Advanced Band
    May 24th - All Orchestras as well as the Beginning and Intermediate Bands
  • NJHS Members can earn volunteer hours during our road clean-up! The clean-up will take place on April 22nd from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Please see Mrs. Magana, 7th grade Science, to sign up!
  • 6th grade science classes will be participating in StarLab from April 23rd through April 25th! StarLab will be hosted in the Sabrecat Den off of our media center.
  • The Everglades Astronomical Society will be helping CPM host the Astronomy Party (Star Party) on the evening of May 3rd after our orientation evening for upcoming 6th graders. The event will take place immediately following the orientation from approximately 8 to 8:30 p.m.
    The location is in the field across the parking lot in back of the school. Parents and students will exit the cafeteria and cross to the field where the telescopes will be set up. A huge thank you goes out to the members of the Everglades Astronomical Society for their assistance and support of this event!

  • SCHOOL BREAKFAST - Students can start their day the parfait way and have a chance to win an iPad 2. During February 14th to April 3rd and from April 10th to May 18th select parfaits have a lucky sticker on the bottom of the cup. If a student picks that day's winning parfait, their name is entered to win. Eight lucky winners in total will be randomly draw from the elementary, middle, and high schools around our district!

  • ADULT EDUCATION - Adult Education Notice: Adult English and GED classes are now being offered at Gulf Coast High School. Adult English classes are continuing at Barron Collier, Lely and Golden Gate High Schools.  Classes are held Monday-Thursday evenings from 6-8:30.  Call Veronica 377-1319 for more information.
