Supplemental Coaches Procedures
Attention all Students who are members of Athletic Teams and other Performing and Competitive Extracurricular Activities:There is an important change to the Code of Student Conduct that you need to be aware of as we head into the summer.
Rule 34, the Activity / Athletic Code of Conduct, has new language that will go into effect IMMEDIATELY.
“Following a participant’s first career participation in an extracurricular activity, wrongful acts that occur at any time in or out of school, 365 days a year, will be subject to code enforcement.” This means that any code violation that occurs over the summer vacation will be enforced when school resumes in August. Click here to read the entire rule.
All FHSAA member school coaches are required to view the FREE online education course “Concussion in Sports – What You Need to Know” prior to the start of practice. This NFHS concussion course may be viewed online at www. nfhslearn.com.
