Jessica Lunsford Act Requirements:

The Jessica Lunsford Act, FS 1012.465 went into effect on September 1, 2005. The Act requires fingerprint background screening for contractors and their employees, employees, subcontractors or agents who are subject to the Jessica Lunsford Act FS§1012.465.

EVG VOLUNTEERS and FAST PASS

We have been advised by the Collier County School System about some "updating" that needs to be done for all volunteers.  In an effort to abide by the Jessica Lunsford Act, we are required to Fast Pass every active volunteer each school year.

EVG will need to update your Fast Pass or create one for you if you don't currently have one. Many of you filled out your paperwork and provided your driver's license years ago, but in order to comply we must now update each and every school year. Please come in our front office at your earliest convenience to get this taken care of.  You will need to have your driver's license with you!  We are sorry for the inconvenience, but it is for the safety of all!  If you have any questions please contact Gina Gilmore, Volunteer Coordinator, at the EVG main number 377-9800. You may also call Patricia Wilson at the District Office if you have any questions about volunteering requirements, or your user name and password for the application process.

If you are a member of another group within our community, please help us spread the word.  This policy applies to ALL school volunteers.
