Positive Behavior Support
The Palmetto staff, with assistance from the University of South Florida, has developed a school-wide behavior plan which is designed to foster a climate of cooperation, academic excellence, respect and safety at Palmetto Elementary. The aim of our Positive Behavior Support Program is to build effective environments in which positive behavior is more effective than problem behavior.
Our Positive Behavior Support Program (PBS) includes incentives that our students earn individually, whole class, and school-wide.
